This Vishnu temple in Pallikonda is situated to the north of Ranganatha Svami temple in Srirangam

 

 

 

Sacred tree – The Sthala Vriksham of this temple is the Pathiri (Patali in Samskrit).

 

 

Ancient names – The deity was once called Pallikonda Perumal and as Pallikonda Ranganatha Svami.
