A 2-day evaluation-cum-training Workshop for ENVIS Centres in Northern Region was held at Dehradun, Uttarkhand hosted by ENVIS Centre at Forest Research Insitute on 12-13 January 2015.

 Around 50 participants from Northern thematic as well as State ENVIS Centres particpated in the Workshop. Speaking on the occasion, Economic Adviser, Shri M Kannan stressed on the need to evolve the ENVIS as a one of the tools for Decision support system available to the Government of India for formulating various environmental policies and decisions.
