Inscriptions at the Mulanatha Svami Temple show donations towards a college dedicated to the fourteen branches of learing

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Original name- The main deity was worshipped as Mulashthanam Udaiya Perumanadigal and also Parameshvara.

 

 

Important inscription- A copper-plate inscription was discovered in Bahur.

 

 

 

Protected monument- This temple is under the care of the Archaeological Survey of India.
